Stage Requirements :: The Grand Wazoo

The requirements of your entertainment can be sometimes overlooked, so here is a guide to help you set up your venue for your next special event or corporate function.
Often, the band will assume that you have checked the available space allocations, power requirements, and safety of the stage area (undercover, protection from the elements etc.).

Minimum Stage Area

Below are the approximate stage sizes required in order to accommodate the PA and lighting.

Dance Floor

The dance floor is sometimes overlooked and yet it is one of the most important and memorable staging areas for your guests to have fun. The size of your dance floor should be adequate to handle 50 to 60% of your guests at any one time and should also be in front of the bands stage area.
This will ensure that your dance floor is the focal point of your special event or corporate function.

Power Requirements

All our equipment is designed to operate on 1Ø phase power (240V). All leads and plugs are regularly tested and tagged by a qualified electrician in accordance with current safety standards.

Ensure that there is adequate power to the stage area, and at least 2 power outlets, preferably on separate circuits (fuses), or in a twin power outlet.
